Beat Body Heat, the Natural Way



Body heat, also known as heat stress, is a common health problem these days and is particularly exaggerated in the summer. The body is unable to cool down, leading to several health problems such as damage to internal organs, heat cramps, rashes, pimples, dizziness and nausea.

Working outside in the hot weather especially in the tropics, exposure to the sun's heat during exercise or work in places where the work space are airy and not cramped, may increase the risk heat stress. Maintaining body heat is very important.

How to avoid the heat of the body?

Moisturize - It is very important to stay hydrated. Water flushes toxins from the body and provides a cooling effect. Melons and cucumbers are effective in preventing the heat of the body. Being rich in water, they keep you hydrated and cool.

Avoid spicy / fried foods - Stay away from hot, spicy food and avoid fatty and fried foods. This includes junk food and fast too.

    Stay away from caffeine / alcohol - drastically reducing your intake of caffeine and alcohol consumption will go a long way in helping your body to keep cool.

    Reducing sodium intake - Follow a low-sodium diet food intake and replace your almonds, sesame and corn oil with coconut or olive oil instead of herbs

    Change your diet - Nuts are known to cause a rapid rise in body temperature, so try lowering your nut consumption. After a picture of a largely vegetarian foods and reducing your red meat consumption will not hurt either.

Remedies for body heat.

However, if you already have an increase in body heat, the following recommendations will help you.

    Soak your feet in a cold tub of water reduces excessive body heat

    Drink a cold glass of pomegranate juice mixed with a few drops of almond oil daily.

    Another easy home remedy to relieve body heat, is to eat a spoonful of fenugreek seeds daily.

    Eat a handful of poppy seeds before sleeping you to get a good rest and maintain normal body temperature during the night. (Warning: Poppy seeds contain opiates and should not be consumed in large quantities or given to children)

    Applying a thin wooden sandal paste and cold milk on the forehead and chest cools the skin and body instantly.

    A tablespoon of honey in cold milk on a daily basis also helps.
